Leaked report indicates B.C. ferry fleet is a fire hazard AP, Seattle Post-Intelligencer
The engineers' findings were assembled by the officers' component of the British Columbia Ferry and Marine Workers Union and distributed to the ferry company and government agencies, none of which had responded as of Saturday, union spokesman Capt. David Badior said.

In a prepared statement, British Columbia Ferries president David Hahn said the report was part of a union 'campaign of misinformation and distortion of facts aimed at thwarting changes and improvements' during labor talks.
