Walmart workers seek union certification CBC Saskatchewan
SASKATOON - A group of retail workers in North Battleford hopes to become one of the first to unionize a North American Walmart department store.
There has only been one successful certification campaign at a Canadian Walmart. That was a decade ago in Windsor, Ontario, but employees were never able to get a collective agreement with the company.
Employees at a Jonquiere, Quebec Walmart are also expecting to hear on April 2, if their union application with UFCW has been successful.------------------------------------------- posted 7:16 AM :: reference link ::
