Swanson Tool Seizes Counterfeit Goods From Defendants in Chicago and Houston Press Release
Swanson Tool, manufacturer of the famous SPEED measuring squares, filed suit based on the defendants' unauthorized use of Swanson Tool's SPEED trademarks and its Diamond Design trademark on measuring squares. These measuring squares have become essential for carpenters and tradesmen. The SPEED brand is 'asked for by name' and used when constructing roofs, stairways, decks, and other general carpentry and construction projects.

'Our customers deserve the quality they expect from Swanson Tool, and this ongoing misrepresentation and deception must not continue. Counterfeiting and misrepresentation of a product can cause harm to the public, particularly in a situation such as this, where the cheap imitations, which were made in China, contained inaccurate measurements.------------------------------------------- posted 9:00 AM :: reference link ::
