ODOT Outlines Construction Plan WTOL-TV Toledo, OH
EAST TOLEDO -- It's been about six weeks since the I-280 bridge accident claimed four lives. Now, there's a plan to begin crane work once again. Crews will start working on the Front Street entrance ramp Saturday morning.

    I-280 Bridge Update 13abc.com
The current status of various construction and accident recovery operations is as follows:

ODOT and Fru-Con met on March 31 to review the Quality Control/Quality Assurance program. This QAR was initiated as a precaution in light of the two recently-identified issues with the project's concrete. The project's QC/QA program was reviewed, and the contractor and their suppliers will forward recommendations to ODOT that will address the aforementioned issues.

The analysis of the upper pylon's concrete continues. No decision has yet been made on the status of the upper pylon's concrete.
