Trench death not crime By RUSS OLIVO, WOONSOCKET CALL
After an "exhaustive review" of the case, prosecutors have determined there are insufficient grounds for charges of involuntary manslaughter against Donald Lapierre of Greenwood Plumbing, Heating and Solar Inc., also known as Mr. Rooter, said Michael Healey, a spokesman for the attorney general."The facts simply don’t support the theory that Mr. Lapierre acted recklessly or wantonly or that Mr. Lapierre forced the workers into the hole or that Mr. Gorski died as a proximate cause of that recklessness," said Healey.------------------------------------------- posted 7:18 AM :: reference link ::
