Quebecor World Workers' Charges That Company Fired, Threatened, and Spied on Employees is Supported by US Government Canada NewsWire
A National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) official here found merit in Covington, Tenn., workers' claims that Quebecor World, Inc. fired, intimidated, threatened, and spied on workers because of their union activities.
The labor board's regional director in Memphis, Tenn., found merit in 17 new unfair labor practice charges filed by the workers and the Graphic Communications International Union (GCIU). These 17 violations of federal labor law are in addition to five other charges pertaining to Quebecor World's Corinth, Miss., and Versailles, Ky., facilities, in which NLRB regional directors found merit last week.
