Cheap extension cords can cause shock, electrocution by Patrick C. Vega, Assistant Fire Chief, Hilltop Times, UT
Since 1994, there have been 2 million different types of extension cords involved in 25 recalls.
Most of the recalled devices are imported, and contain undersized wires, reversed polarity, poor solder joints, and other workmanship problems which create a risk of fire, electric shock, or electrocution.------------------------------------------- posted 6:55 AM :: reference link ::
