Fourth Building Inspector Loses Job NBC5.com
All four hires who lost their jobs have ties to Local 13, and Kaderbek said the union also misled the city about their qualifications. Kaderbek said the city asked the union to assist in verifying the qualifications of each of the members who were hired, but the commissioner said union officials 'continued to mislead us every step of the way.'
Ryan is the son of Local 13 Secretary-Treasurer Tom Ryan. Sexton is a Local 13 member and the son of Carpenters Union President Mike Sexton. Kelly and Marino are both Local 13 members, Kaderbek said.
