Carpenter's union hall vandalized By Jared L. Olar, Pekin Daily Times, IL
According to the Pekin police report, someone used bright orange spray paint on the outside walls of the union hall, writing obscenities and apparently referring to a labor dispute involving Pekin Menards, 3535 Court St.
Among the things written were 'Menard's Rat Scabs,' the report says.
'(Local 644) and a competing union bid for installing shelving at Pekin Menards. The carpenters union won the bid,' said Pekin police press information officer Chris Bitner.------------------------------------------- posted 12:29 PM :: reference link ::
