Teachers helped union, Wal-Mart charges By PETTI FONG, The Globe and Mail
UFCW Local 1518 spokesman Andy Neufeld said the union organizer in Terrace didn't ask for names of students, but asked for help from other union members to find names of people they knew who worked at Wal-Mart.
'Wal-Mart's contempt for unions is just bottomless,' Mr. Neufeld said. 'The idea that people would actually talk to people about an opportunity to improve their wages and working conditions apparently doesn't sit well with them.'------------------------------------------- posted 11:39 AM :: reference link ::
