Bricklayers battle to be named
state's most magnificent mason - by SHAUN BYRON, Romeo Observer, MT
Masons and tenders from around the state contested for the title, $2,000 and a free trip to compete in the national competition in Las Vegas.
Competitors are supplied with the mud and bricks, and are given one hour to build a brick wall with the aid of their tender. More than 500 bricks were supplied to each team as well as several loads of cement.
The judges looked for height, quality and skill in the walls.------------------------------------------- posted 4:05 PM :: reference link ::
