Both sides silent in protest over nonunion workers at Mahopac firehouse worksite - The Journal News.com, NY
'Some people get afraid to comment,' said Duncan MacRae, a regional AFL-CIO official whose group is not involved with the protest. 'They think, 'If I go against the department and my house has a fire, what will happen?' This is a small town, where everybody knows everybody. You don't want to do bad by your neighbors.
