Machinists' Leader Hopes To Heal Election Wounds - By PAUL MARKS, Hartford Courant
As his swearing-in ceremony approaches on Sunday, John C. Taylor is seeking ways to heal the bitterness left over from his election as president of the Machinists union local in East Hartford.
