Hoffa rallies union forces - Connecticut Post
Jim Hoffa, International Brotherhood of Teamsters general president, answered them by thrusting his fist in the air Thursday and claiming that when he got out of his car outside the Stratford plant's main gate, he had stepped in some horse dung.

Then, the son of legendary Teamster leader Jimmy Hoffa said he realized it hadn't been horse droppings at all.

'It was Sikorsky's final offer,' he deadpanned to the delight of the 3,000 strikers and supporters gathered on Main Street outside the plant.
