’Miracle on Boylston Street’ - By Ed Baker, TownOnline.com, MA
"We were up on the roof above the scaffolding," Robert Fuller, a Weymouth carpenter said. "My work partners, Mike Steigerwald and Tom Page were with us. There was a noise banging against the building. We turned around and saw the scaffolding do a see-saw motion and it went over. We then ran to the front of the building to see what happened and we then ran down two floors and saw this guy sitting on a ledge."

The worker, Shawn Armeen, 34, a mason tender was working on the scaffolding platform as it gave way and plunged downward. He has no recollection of leaping off the falling steel girders and grasping a five-inch wide inset ledge that was created by his co-workers to place a building stone into days earlier.

"He sat there sitting on the ledge," Fuller said. "He sat there calmly and said, ’help me.’ We told him to hold on."
