Forest workers face 'culture of desperation': union - By Gordon Hamilton, Vancouver Sun
The jury recommended that Labour Minister Olga Ilich initiate a revision of the Workers Compensation Act to address issues of forest safety and review regulations in light of the fact that many former company employees are now operating in the forests within their own single-employee companies.
The jury also recommended that the province and WorkSafeBC (formerly the Workers Compensation Board) reverse changes made during the B.C.
