Supermarkets would keep full staff until 8 p.m. - By ALLISON LAMPERT, Montreal Gazette, Canada
Union leader Louis Bolduc said the bill was a victory for consumers, but a loss for supermarket staff who don't earn overtime on holidays and have minimal say when it comes to working night shifts.

'It's all for the consumer and there's nothing for the worker,' said Bolduc, director of the United Food & Commercial Workers' Quebec region. 'This government lacks courage.'
