Schiedel Construction Inc. fined $60,000 for health and safety violation - Canada News Wire
The carpenter, who was descending down the scaffolding's end frames, suffered arm, leg and back injuries. Schiedel Construction Inc. had been contracted to put a new roof on the building located at 162 Savage Drive in Cambridge.
Schiedel Construction Inc. pleaded guilty, as an employer, to failing to ensure that access to and egress from the roof was by stairs, runway, ramp or ladder, as required by Section 70(1) of the Regulations for Construction Projects.------------------------------------------- posted 7:30 AM :: reference link ::
