Sawmill, workers sue over violence sues over violent attack By Gordon Hamilton, Vancouver Sun
Vancouver company's suit accuses IWA leader of participating in assault
A Lower Mainland local of the Industrial Wood & Allied Workers of Canada -- including a former national vice-president -- is being sued for damages after a violent mob of up to 150 people swarmed a Vancouver sawmill in December, forcing it to shut down.
The suit lifts the veil on a war taking place within the IWA between two locals and involving two companies employing workers from the two different locals.------------------------------------------- posted 7:22 PM :: reference link ::
