"Our pensions are untouchable," say Steelworkers at Ivaco Inc. Canada NewsWire
United Steelworkers' Quebec and Ontario/Atlantic Directors Michel Arsenault and Wayne Fraser announced Thursday an agreement to coordinate bargaining amongst its 11 local unions at Ivaco Inc. The agreement came after a face-to-face meeting with 17 local union leaders.
'We are unanimous in our commitment to work together to protect our members' pensions,' said Arsenault. 'All the locals have agreed to coordinate their efforts to move forward with the process. We will not bargain with anyone who will jeopardize our position.'------------------------------------------- posted 7:01 AM :: reference link ::
