Local groups to join 'Million Worker March' Workday Minnesota
Nationally, more than 100 labor and community organizations have endorsed the march including the National Education Association (NEA), Teamsters Black Caucus, Farm Labor Organizing Committee (FLOC), American Postal Workers Union (APWU), Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, and Industrial Workers of the World (IWW). Already, several local groups such as the Minnesota chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, AFSCME Local 3800, Vets For Peace, several MAPE locals and the United Auto Workers Local 879 have pledged their support of the Twin Cities organizers’ efforts.------------------------------------------- posted 6:40 AM :: reference link ::
