Union threatens to sue B.C. Ferries directors CBC News
Federation president George MacPherson says the union won't make a decision on legal action until after a board meeting in Victoria on Friday.

The directors will be considering the recommendation that the $500-million contract for the three Super C-class ferries be given to a shipyard in Germany.

MacPherson says it's ridiculous B.C. Ferries is giving more than 5,000 direct and indirect jobs to people in another country when the ferries could be built here for less money.

The union and the B.C. Federation of Labour are planning a rally outside Friday's Board of Directors meeting.
