Sign here and the jobs yours, Billy - or go elsewhere - The Border Mail
BILLY, young and unemployed, has to decide between remaining on the dole or taking a job without any public holidays, rest breaks, bonuses, annual leave loadings or penalty rates.

The Government cites the fictitious Billys experience as an example of how individual contracts will work in the new era of WorkChoices a massive shake-up of Australias industrial relations arrangements.

In the glossy WorkChoices booklet, Billy knows he wont get the job unless he signs an Australian workplace agreement and if he cant come to terms with what his prospective boss wants, his only option is to look elsewhere for a job.

More Labor Lies On Public Holidays - Media Centre - Hon Kevin Andrews MP
This week the union movement and the ALP have been caught running another misleading scare campaign based bargaining in relation to public holidays.
