Organized labor rallies against 'right to work' proposal - By BRUCE SCHREINER, AP Wire
FRANKFORT, Ky. - Hundreds of union members booed Gov. Ernie Fletcher on Tuesday as organized labor vowed to flex its political muscle to defeat a proposal championed by Fletcher to open union-represented workplaces to nonunion workers.
'The governor started it, we're going to finish it - punch for punch, dollar for dollar,' Kentucky State AFL-CIO President Bill Londrigan said as union workers filled the Capitol Rotunda, just a few steps from Fletcher's office.------------------------------------------- posted 4:46 PM :: reference link ::
