Freeholder supports workers’ protest against use of nonunion labor
There are two gates for contractors to enter the South Delsea Drive site. Gate A, for union members, has a half-dozen names, while Gate B lists twice as many as that.
The crowd that gathered decried what they perceived as Lowe's practice of hiring cheaper out-of-state workers who were entitled to no benefits and would make less money working in their own states.
